Rick Parker. 1980’s & 1990’s Marvel Bullpen Cartoonist and Lettering Pro!

A frequent collaborator with the likes of Todd McFarlane (Amazing Spider-Man #300) and Larry Hama (the most-credited artist on GI JOE after Larry himself), Mr. Parker’s 50 year career in Comics has been highlighted by working on the world’s BEST-SELLING comic book (Spider-Man #1, 1990), writing and drawing Marvel’s Beavis & Butthead comic book series, and more recently his memoir DRAFTED, about serving in the army during the War in Vietnam was published by Abrams ComicArts in 2024.

Rick is credited with over 1,200 (!!) different Marvel comic book issues during his time in the Bullpen, and is excited to meet his most dedicated fans at your show.
