Richmond has a very strange mass transit system, and you will always need to call in advance for taxi cabs. but…not to worry! We have prepped this page to help you out, so you can safely and easily get to and from the show!

Since we are located right off of I-95 and I-64, we recommend the Bus system to be the easiest way to get to Richmond. There are several choices, including Greyhound, and the “Chinatown Bus” that makes stops in many major East Coast towns, and is typically the cheapest way to get to Richmond.

The EASIEST way to get to Richmond is by Train. We are lucky enough to have TWO train stations in Richmond, so be sure to stop at the STAPLES MILL train station. If you are staying at the host hotel, the Ramada Plaza West, have their telephone number handy so they can send the free hotel shuttle to pick up you (less than 2 miles away). Also, have a cab number handy, as the shuttle is first come / first served. It will be a very short and affordable cab ride (probably less than $10).

Finally, if you come by Airplane, remember that RIC airport is almost 20 miles away from the show, but thankfully, from the airport, it is a straight shot down I-64 to get to the airport. We have several discount airline carriers, and if purchased at the right time, you can get flights from New York to Richmond for $59 each way. Rental cars start at $25 a day from RIC airport, and are much cheaper than hiring a taxi cab.
